Sacred Geography

Throughout history, cultures have viewed their physical environment as a reflection and manifestation of an invisible order and felt that certain places emanate special energies.

All over the world there are sacred sites which are especially revered and are thought to be a threshold to another world where communication with the ‘gods’ is made possible.

This talk will explore the major ideas about ‘sacred geography’ and the question of whether sacredness is inherent and/or can be created through human action.

Tickets are priced at £8 (£5 concessions).

Location: 19 Compton Terrace N1 2UN, next door to Union Chapel.
