Workshop Series: The Power of Myth

Three workshops on the universal language of myth and symbolism, revealing how ancient myths can offer wisdom for meeting life's challenges.

For thousands of years, myths have helped human beings understand dimensions of life that the rational mind alone struggles to grasp—love, death, destiny, transformation and the mystery of existence. Great philosophers such as Plato used myths to express profound philosophical truths, while their archetypal patterns continue to inspire modern stories such as The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars.

Spread across three evenings, this workshop series explores the universal language of myth and symbolism, revealing how ancient myths can illuminate our inner life, deepen our understanding of ourselves and others, and offer practical wisdom for meeting life's challenges.

Workshop 1. Myths, Symbols and Rituals - 22 September
How myths open a path to the Sacred and provide timeless maps for understanding ourselves and navigating the trials and turning points of life.

Workshop 2. Cupid and Psyche - 29 September
One of the most beautiful myths of the ancient world, revealing the journey of the soul, the nature of love, and the transformative power of inner trials.

Workshop 3. The Odyssey - 6 October
Odysseus' epic journey as a timeless allegory of the human search for wisdom, self-mastery, and the return to our true home.

The workshop dates are 22 September, 29 September and 06 October, time 18.30-20.30pm with Q&A session afterwards at a nearby pub.

Tickets: £60 for the 3-session series, or £25 per single session.
