Ayurveda and the Mind
"He who controls his mind, controls his life"
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is one of the world's oldest systems of holistic healthcare. It originated in India over 5,000 years ago and it means "the wisdom of life". Ayurveda has compiled the eternal truths about the human body, mind and spirit and how they interact to reach happiness and health.
What will you learn?
You will explore your mind in a holistic way, discover its nature and study its effects on your perceptions, feelings, thoughts and relationships. We will cover:
- Physical and psychological constitution (Vata, Pitta, Kapha)
- Mental and spiritual nature (Satva, Rajas and Tamas)
- Nature and function of your mind (Manas) and your senses
This knowledge will equip you to:

We will provide you with techniques and daily practices to better use and understand your mind.
